1. Product: Biodiesel
Analysis of biodiesel made from vegetable oils, both first-use and used (canola, soy, palm, sunflower, oil used for frying, etc.) and analysis of biodiesel made from animal fats. All acording to standard UNE EN 14214:2009:
  • Ester content

  • Density al 15º

  • Viscosity at 40º

  • Fire poin

  • Sulphyr content

  • Carbonaceous residue (10% distillation residue)

  • Shulphated ash content

  • Water content

  • Total contamination

  • Cpper strip corrosion (3h at 50º)

  • Iodine value

  • Linolenic acid methyl ester

  • Polyunsaturated acid methyl ester

  • Metanol content

  • Mono-, di- and triglycerides

  • Free and total glycerine

  • Na+K. Ca+Mg content

  • % FAME in fuel oil

2. Raw Materials: Oils and Fats

In order to obtain quality biodiesel for problem-free in conventional vehicles, it is essential to control the quality of the raw materials:

  • Humidity testing

  • Impurities / Insoluble in ether

  • Acidity testing

  • Phosphorus content / Phosphotides

  • Unsaponificable matter

  • Oxidation stability

  • Iodine value

  • Wax content 

  • Fatty acid distribution

 

3. By-product: Glycerine

  • Water content

  • Purity

  • Methanol content

  • Calculatino of matter (organic) non-glycerol (MONG)

  • Oil content

  • Ash content

  • Soap content

  • FAME content

  • Acidity testing

  • Metal testing
