In this work a model that predicts velocity an cencentration fields inside a X-shaped millichannel (4 mm diameter) is developed. Water an a ink low concentration are injected simultaneously in the two inlets of the device. The mass transfer problem is solved by a Fickian model (solute concentration is low comparated with the solvent). The parameters in this study are: initial inlet mass flow and angle formed between channels. The dey idea in to understand the role of diffusion an the velocity field in the flow mixture. The numerical results are compared with the experimental ones.
