cemitec conducts its own R&D projects (in collaboration with other Technological Centres) in order to:

• Capture an assimilate new knowledge an technologies that are then trasferable a posteriori to companies through its technological portolio.
• Develop our own innovative products.

One of cemitec´s mail goal is precisely the development, protection and exploitation of our own products through Innovative Technology - Based Companies (ITBCs) in order to increase the added value to the Society. Te results obtained so far in this area are:

• Appliactions for 5 patents.
• In progress: Feasibility analysis for 4 potential ITBCs, with support from CEIN. 
• Creation of the ITBC: EmbElectronIP.

EmbElectronIP

EmbElectronIP ´s  main objective is the design, development, manufacture, marketing an implementation of industrial an electronic intellectual property rights, as well as software and hardware, for embedded systems.

EmbElectronIP currently supplies the following products to their clients: 

1.-BSP Linux-ESM2440+LX800+CX700+MX27: Software systems that make it possible to create user applications for use on embedded system platforms.

2.-CODEC MJPEG: A software system for real-time video compression for use on embedded systems.

3.-RF Transceiver 868+MicroP+500mW: Radio frequency units enabling wireless communications in stand-alone embedded electronic products.

4.-MULTIPATH Modem: A low-cost communications system for high bandwidth applications on multipath networks.
